Sydney Rewa triumphed over New Zealand with a convincing 3-0 victory in the second Premier quarterfinal of the Rams Group of Companies 10th Sanatan World Cup held at the Blacktown Spartan Sporting Complex today.
Under the guidance of Fiji assistant coach Marika Rodu, Rewa began the match with an aggressive strategy and secured a 1-0 lead at halftime, thanks to a penalty scored by Vinit Chand.
In the second half, Aman Singh and Alvin Singh each netted spectacular goals, capitalizing on errors made by the Nadroga defense.
Rewa’s lineup featured notable players such as Aakash Sharma, Delon Shankar, and Madhwan Goundar, while the Nadroga side, coached by O’Neill Chand, included talents like Shahil Dave, Pawan Singh, Akshay Shandil, and Jeshal Kumar.
