Residents of Tavua now have better access to consumer goods following the opening of a new retail outlet in their town. The gold mining town welcomes Al Hamd Smart Living’s latest and sixth store.
The $60,000 investment offers a range of products including the latest LED lights, office furniture, contemporary prefabricated container houses from China, and stylish blinds.
Managing Director Ashfaaq Khan announced that 20 units of prefabricated, two-bedroom expandable houses have been sold locally, with more sales anticipated in the coming months. “These handpicked prefab container homes are ISO9001 certified and built to my specifications,” Mr. Khan said.
Mr. Khan collaborates with certified local engineers to assemble these container houses. Prefabricated offices are available for $12,000, while two-bedroom houses sell for $14,000.
The grand opening of the Tavua branch attracted an enthusiastic crowd, eager to explore the curated selection of home, office, and living space products designed for both style and functionality.
Al Hamd Smart Living has other outlets in Lautoka, Labasa, Suva, Nausori, and Nadi. The company has made significant strides since it began operations in 2012.
