The Marist Brothers High School (MBHS) Under-15 rugby team honored the memory of their No.8 Senitiki Kuruvakadua’s late father with a 22-7 victory against Gospel High School (GHS) in the semi-finals of the Vodafone Deans Trophy.

Head coach Jone Temo shared that the success of the match was attributed to divine intervention. He emphasized the need for improved line speed and defense during halftime, highlighting the challenge posed by their opponents.

As they prepare for the final against Suva Grammar School, Temo indicated that the team will concentrate on enhancing their strength and conditioning.

He noted that most players are athletes with good fitness levels, although there are some minor injuries. However, he expressed optimism that all players would be ready to compete in the final.
