Professionally trained as an accountant, Mr. Nandha held several key positions including auditor for the National Federation Party, the Cane Growers Federation, and later the Fiji Cane Growers Association. His leadership set a standard for good governance that continues to influence the internal administration and development of these organizations, according to National Federation Party leader, Prof Biman Prasad.
Prof Prasad expressed sorrow over the loss of Mr. Nandha, acknowledging his dedication and professionalism in serving the cane growers of Fiji for over twenty years alongside notable figures such as the late Hon. AD Patel, the late Swami Rudrananda, and the late Hon. HM Lodhia. His commitment and integrity have left a lasting legacy in the agricultural sector.
This tribute highlights not only Mr. Nandha’s contributions to the cane industry but also serves as a reminder of the importance of dedicated individuals in shaping agricultural policies and practices. His work ensured that the interests of cane growers were represented and that fair practices were established.
His passing is an opportunity for reflection on the impact of strong leadership within the agricultural community and the significance of advocacy for equitable policies.
