Diwan Chand Maharaj, the founder of Quality Print PTE Limited, was remembered as a “true friend to many” and a “dedicated professional” in the printing industry during his funeral service at the Dignified Crematorium. Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka offered this heartfelt tribute as he honored Mr. Maharaj’s legacy.

Starting his printing business in 1982, Mr. Maharaj devoted over four decades to establishing Quality Print as a leading name in Fiji’s printing sector, recognized for its commitment to excellence and innovation. In addition to his contributions to the printing sector, Mr. Maharaj co-founded Sun Insurance PTE Limited in 1999. His influence extended beyond business; he was instrumental in establishing the Kidney Foundation of Fiji and was an active community leader. His involvement included participation in charitable organizations, long-standing membership in the Rotary Club since 1990, and serving as the national president of the Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji.

Prime Minister Rabuka noted Mr. Maharaj’s embodiment of love and friendship, qualities that resonated deeply with those who knew him. He concluded his tribute with a heartfelt farewell, wishing peace for Mr. Maharaj’s soul.
