The Ratu Kadavulevu School Under-14 rugby team has embraced principles of discipline, humility, and respect throughout their Vodafone Deans Trophy campaign. Team manageress Eta Vakalutugone shared this insight during an interview with SUNsports after their semi-final victory over Marist Brothers High School, where they triumphed with a score of 13-0.
Vakalutugone expressed their dedication of the semi-final win to the school’s Under-18 and Under-19 teams, stating, “We are so grateful that we’ve reached the final.” She also acknowledged the vital support received from teachers, parents, and former students.
“We are going to build on our performance in the final,” she added, highlighting the unity among the players as the team’s strength. Vakalutugone indicated they are ready to face a formidable challenge against Mahatma Ghandi Memorial (MGM) in the final.
