The Under-14 rugby team from Ratu Kadavulevu School has demonstrated discipline, humility, and respect throughout their Vodafone Deans Trophy journey. Team manager Eta Vakalutugone shared these insights after their 13-0 victory against Marist Brothers High School in the semi-finals during an interview.
“We dedicate our semi-final victory to the RKS Under-18 and Under-19 teams,” Vakalutugone stated. “We are immensely grateful to have reached the final.”
She also expressed appreciation for the backing received from teachers, parents, and alumni. “We are going to build on our performance in the final. The unity among the players has become our greatest strength.”
Vakalutugone noted that they anticipate a strong challenge from the Mahatma Ghandi Memorial (MGM) team in the final.
