Ratu Kadavulevu School claimed the Vodafone Deans U14 championship with a strong 22-8 win against Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva today.
Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School made the first move, scoring a penalty in the fifth minute before halftime. However, RKS quickly bounced back with a converted try, closing the deficit to 8-7 as they approached the halftime break.
In the second half, RKS seized control of the match, equalizing and then scoring again with a try of their own. They solidified their win with one final try, bringing the score to 22-8 and securing the Deans title for RKS.
