Ratu Ilisaniti Malodali Urges Kava Cutback for Family Time

The Tui Nadogo, Ratu Ilisaniti Malodali, is urging communities in Nadogo, Macuata, to limit kava consumption to enhance family bonding time. He emphasized the importance of fathers being present at home to supervise their children effectively.

Ratu Ilisaniti stated that having a father figure is essential for instilling discipline within households and that unacceptable behaviors must be addressed. He urged that children should be taught how to conduct themselves within the community, with guidance stemming from religious values shared by parents.

He expressed concern about the influence of technology and criminal activities on today’s youth, which could jeopardize the village’s legacy of unity, peace, and growth. Ratu Ilisaniti believes that the upcoming decade will be pivotal in determining whether young people will stay focused on achieving success and fulfilling national responsibilities.

He encouraged youths to pursue education and secure meaningful employment to avoid falling prey to individuals who might lure them into drug trafficking. Ratu Ilisaniti has previously cautioned against marijuana cultivation in the area, urging residents to concentrate on legitimate farming to improve their income.
