Three fire incidents were reported in the Western Division over the past two days.
Police stated that the first incident occurred in Etatoko, Ba on Wednesday, where a farmhouse owned by a 42-year-old man was entirely destroyed along with its contents.
The house was unoccupied at the time of the incident.
The second fire, reported on August 1st in Qallau, Rakiraki, resulted in the complete destruction of a bulk room containing farming materials and tools.
The property owner resides overseas.
The third incident took place in Natabua, Lautoka, where a double-story home belonging to a 70-year-old was partially damaged by fire.
The causes of all three fires remain undetermined as joint investigations with the National Fire Authority continue.
“As we head into the weekend, and with a lot of movement anticipated, property owners are reminded to thoroughly conduct checks for fire hazards before leaving home,” the statement said.
