Ba midfielder Mohammad Raheem has left for New Zealand after obtaining a one-year work permit, which means he will not be available for the upcoming Digicel Fiji Premier League matches. Ba FA President Azam Ali confirmed that Raheem departed today.

After earning the 2023 IDC Golden Boot Award, Raheem has been a key player for Ba football. When asked about Raheem’s potential participation in this year’s IDC, President Ali stated that no decisions have been made yet. “We will make a decision closer to the time,” Ali remarked, suggesting that the team’s stance on Raheem’s involvement in future tournaments will be influenced by ongoing developments.
