Ba midfielder Mohammad Raheem has left for New Zealand after obtaining a one-year work permit, which means he will be unavailable for the upcoming Digicel Fiji Premier League matches.
Ba FA President Azam Ali announced that Raheem departed for New Zealand today.
Raheem, the recipient of the 2023 IDC Golden Boot Award, has been a crucial player for Ba football.
When asked about Raheem’s potential participation in this year’s IDC, President Ali stated that no decision has been made yet.
“We will make a decision closer to the time,” said Ali, suggesting that the team’s plans regarding Raheem’s involvement in future tournaments will depend on further developments.
