Fijian winger Vinaya Habosi, who was recalled following an investigation into domestic violence allegations, made an impact by scoring during Racing 92’s victory over Vannes in the French Top 14 yesterday. Habosi’s goal came in the first half, just weeks after he was arrested due to a dispute with his wife. The 24-year-old has faced disciplinary action from the Parisian club and is required to attend a domestic violence course. His contribution helped Racing come back to secure a 27-24 win, marking their second victory in five matches this season and easing some of the pressure on coach Stuart Lancaster, a former England and Leinster leader. Meanwhile, Vannes remains at the bottom of the league table after suffering their fourth defeat in this, their first season in the top flight.
