Pacific Specialist Healthcare (PSH) is proudly sponsoring the Fiji Billiards and Snooker Association’s (FBSA) third rankings tournament, which is set to begin tomorrow at the South Seas Club and Lautoka Club in Lautoka.
At a presentation held yesterday in the Kaks Marketing conference room in Raiwaqa, Suva, the healthcare company donated $5,000 to the FBSA. The tournament will span three days, concluding on Sunday, and will showcase the skills of 65 talented players from across the nation.
Solomone Suguta, head of the Research and Development team at PSH, expressed the company’s dedication to community involvement since its establishment in Fiji in 2016. He stated, “We like to extend our boundaries outside of health with opportunities like this. Our sponsorship is stepping ahead from our boundaries and cultivating the local culture of togetherness.”
FBSA President Keshwan Nadan acknowledged the significance of PSH’s support for the association’s initiatives. He remarked, “The generous sponsorship from PSH will not only support this ranking tournament but also assist in organizing a veterans tournament that will follow.”
The funding from PSH is expected to facilitate seamless operations and enhance the experience for both players and spectators alike.
The rankings tournament is set to be a showcase of competitive and exciting local talent, with players striving for top positions and recognition within the snooker and billiards community. Snooker fans can anticipate a weekend filled with thrilling matches and impressive performances at Lautoka’s premier venues.
