Yogesh Karan, the Permanent Secretary for Multi-Ethnic Affairs and the Sugar Industry, has announced his resignation. This move will take effect on November 1, 2024.
Luka Rokovada, Chairman of the Public Service Commission, confirmed that Karan is set to embark on a new journey in national and international development with an organization based in Fiji.
Karan has a distinguished career, having dedicated over 20 years of service to the Fijian Government in various senior roles. His previous positions include serving as the High Commissioner to India, as well as holding the title of Permanent Secretary for the Office of the Prime Minister and Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Sugar Industry.
