Roneel Prakash emerged victorious in the 2024 Natadola Open Pro Am Professional category, finishing with a gross score of 75. He narrowly defeated former three-time champion Sam Lee, who recorded a score of 76, highlighting the competitive spirit throughout the tournament.
Prakash shared his appreciation for the win and dedicated it to his family. “The competition was really intense, especially with Sam Lee as a former champion, and I’m happy with this result,” he stated. He noted that the weather conditions were favorable, with mild winds, which contributed positively to his performance. “This victory is an added bonus for me as I aim to finish strong, and I want to dedicate this win to my family,” he added.
Avinesh Datt, General Manager of Natadola Golf, also acknowledged the pleasant weather conditions which benefited the event. “We want to thank God for the beautiful weather that has allowed us to hold the Natadola Open. We had 120 participants with a full field, and we were blessed with this wonderful weather,” Datt remarked.
