Dr. Atonio Lalabalavu addressed questions about his political stance, emphasizing his unity with the Prime Minister and the party. When asked whether he sided with Prime Minister Mr. Rabuka or members forming a new party, Dr. Lalabalavu replied, “That is not a question you should be asking me.” He stated, “I’m from Cakaudrove. Keitou dau domo dua ga (We are one voice).”
He expressed his commitment to the Prime Minister and the government, focusing on his work within the ministry. “I have a lot of work to do within the ministry and I will put all my efforts into it,” he said, reinforcing his support for the Prime Minister and expressing indifference to any party members that may leave to form a new party.
