Prime Minister and Leader of the People’s Alliance Party, Sitiveni Rabuka, has acknowledged that some members of his party are considering forming a new political party in preparation for the 2026 General Election. Rabuka stated that those members are free to pursue their plans. In a message shared on his Facebook Page, he emphasized that the People’s Alliance is strong, united, and dedicated to fulfilling its commitments to the Fijian populace. He reiterated the party’s determination, stating, “We will not be distracted. Our focus is clear, and our mission continues.”
