The deputy leader of The People’s Alliance party, Manoa Kamikamica, has issued a strong call for immediate resignations following statements from Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka suggesting that some government members might consider forming their own party. Kamikamica urged those contemplating leaving to “leave now and don’t let that door hit you on the way out.”

He emphasized that those individuals show a lack of respect for the sacrifices made to ensure the stability of democracy and for the voters who supported Rabuka’s vision for Fiji.

Kamikamica asserted, “There is no room for instability, no room for personal agendas that undermine the unity of our nation.” He expressed determination to counter any efforts to destabilize the government and the party, addressing “keyboard warriors and rumormongers” with a farewell message.

He reaffirmed the commitment of The People’s Alliance to maintaining Fiji as a stable and prosperous nation for future generations, highlighting the importance of current efforts in fostering economic growth, social unity, and a robust future. Kamikamica concluded by stating that they would not permit anyone to disrupt their vision for the country.
