The deputy leader of The People’s Alliance party, Manoa Kamikamica, has issued a strong call for immediate resignations following claims by Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka that some members of the government are considering forming their own party. Kamikamica urged those individuals to “leave now and don’t let that door hit you on the way out.”

He emphasized that such actions show a lack of respect for the sacrifices made to secure democracy in Fiji. “You’ve shown no respect for the tens of thousands of Fijians who voted because they believed in the Prime Minister and The People’s Alliance vision,” he stated.

Kamikamica further asserted that instability and personal agendas that threaten national unity would not be tolerated. He pointedly addressed those spreading rumors and stirring dissent, saying, “Good luck and goodbye.”

The deputy leader reaffirmed the commitment to maintaining a stable and prosperous Fiji for future generations, highlighting the importance of the current work being done to lay the foundations for economic growth and social unity. “We will not allow anyone to derail that vision,” he concluded.
