Prime Minister and Leader of the People’s Alliance Party, Sitiveni Rabuka, has acknowledged that certain members of the party are considering the establishment of a new political party in anticipation of the 2026 General Election. Rabuka expressed that they have the freedom to pursue this. In a statement shared on his Facebook page, he emphasized that the People’s Alliance remains robust, united, and dedicated to fulfilling its commitments to the Fijian population. “We will not be distracted. Our focus is clear, and our mission continues,” stated the PAP Leader.
