Filimoni Vosarogo has reaffirmed his loyalty to the Prime Minister’s leadership within the government and the party. He stressed that his allegiance remains unchanged despite recent allegations.
Mr. Vosarogo addressed claims made by Australian resident Alexandra Forwood, who accused him and fellow ministers, including Mr. Kamikamica, Mr. Ditoka, and Mr. Turaga, of attempting to split from the People’s Alliance (PA). He revealed that he received an email from Forwood alleging his involvement with other ministers in forming a new political party.
He dismissed these accusations, labeling them as “absolute hogwash.” “There is no truth to the allegations made by this self-important individual, who is excessively egotistical about her social media presence,” Vosarogo stated. He emphasized that Forwood’s emails and social media remarks could have led to legal actions if she were in Fiji.
He expressed his disdain for her claims, suggesting she does not contribute to the country’s development and questioning her residency status and tax contributions.
