Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew has ordered a detailed investigation following a police vehicle accident that occurred in Saweni this morning. Four police officers were in the vehicle en route to Lautoka when the driver reportedly lost control, resulting in the vehicle overturning. Chew emphasized that appropriate disciplinary measures will be imposed if the investigation reveals that the officers violated road laws or misused their authority while operating the police vehicle. The four officers are currently receiving medical attention at Lautoka Aspen Hospital.
