Acting Police Commissioner Juki Fong Chew has initiated a comprehensive investigation regarding a police vehicle accident that occurred in Saweni this morning. Four police officers were in the vehicle en route to Lautoka when the driver reportedly lost control, leading to the vehicle overturning. Chew stated that appropriate disciplinary measures will be implemented should the officers be found to have violated traffic regulations or misused their authority while operating the police vehicle. The four officers are currently being monitored at Lautoka Aspen Hospital.
