Police Vehicle Crash Sparks Investigation Amid Officer Scrutiny

The Acting Commissioner of Police, Juki Fong Chew, has ordered a comprehensive investigation into a police vehicle accident that occurred this morning in Saweni. Four officers were in the vehicle en route to Lautoka when the driver reportedly lost control, resulting in the vehicle overturning. Chew stated that appropriate disciplinary measures will be implemented if the officers are found to have violated traffic laws or misused their authority while operating the police vehicle. The four officers are currently receiving medical attention at the Lautoka Aspen Hospital.
