Police Vehicle Accident Sparks Investigation: What Happened in Saweni?

Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew has ordered a comprehensive investigation into a police vehicle accident that occurred in Saweni this morning. Four officers were en route to Lautoka when the driver reportedly lost control, resulting in the vehicle rolling over. Chew emphasized that appropriate disciplinary measures will be implemented if the officers are found to have violated traffic laws or misused their authority while operating the police vehicle. The four officers are currently being monitored at Lautoka Aspen Hospital.
