The Acting Commissioner of Police, Juki Fong Chew, has ordered a comprehensive investigation into a police vehicle accident that occurred in Saweni this morning. Four police officers were in the vehicle en route to Lautoka when the driver reportedly lost control, resulting in the vehicle overturning. Chew emphasized that appropriate disciplinary measures will be implemented if it is determined that the officers violated traffic regulations or misused their authority while operating the police vehicle. The four officers are currently receiving medical attention at Lautoka Aspen Hospital.
