Acting Police Commissioner Juki Fong Chew has ordered a comprehensive investigation into a police vehicle accident that occurred this morning in Saweni. Four police officers were en route to Lautoka when the driver reportedly lost control, resulting in the vehicle overturning. Chew stated that appropriate disciplinary measures will be enacted if the officers are found to have violated traffic regulations or misused their authority while operating the police vehicle. The four officers are currently being monitored at Lautoka Aspen Hospital.
