Acting Police Commissioner Juki Fong Chew has ordered a comprehensive investigation into a police vehicle accident that occurred in Saweni this morning.
The incident involved four police officers who were en route to Lautoka when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, resulting in it overturning.
Chew emphasized that appropriate disciplinary measures will be implemented if the investigation reveals that the officers violated traffic laws or misused their authority while operating the police vehicle.
The officers are currently receiving medical attention at Lautoka Aspen Hospital.
