The Fiji Police Force has successfully retained the 2024 Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl Competition, narrowly defeating the Army with a score of 20-19 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva yesterday. This win holds extra importance as it coincides with the Police Force’s significant 150th anniversary.
Coach Solomone Nute praised his team for their unwavering effort and dedication throughout the competition, specifically highlighting the performance of young player Ponipate Tuberi, who was named man of the match for his outstanding contributions on the field.
In contrast, Army captain John Muller expressed disappointment over the defeat, acknowledging that the team had opportunities to clinch the victory but ultimately fell short.
