The Police team has successfully retained their title in the Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl Competition 2024 after a thrilling match against the Army, ending with a score of 20-19 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

The Police secured their victory through key penalties given away by Ponipate Tuberi and Kini Douglas, as well as tries from Tuberi and Inoke Ravuiwasa. The Army team, while narrowly defeated, demonstrated their strength with penalties by Jeremaia Tavai, one by Inia Tawalo, and tries from Rokoua Rasaku and Sevuloni Lutu.
A dramatic twist occurred at the end of the match when Douglas missed a penalty kick that could have extended their lead, but it proved irrelevant as the Police maintained their slim advantage to clinch the win.
After the match, an elated Solomoni Nute, the head coach of the Police team, praised his players for their unwavering resolve.
