Teams from four police divisions across Fiji participated in the Fiji Police Inter District Championship, which commenced yesterday at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.
The first day of competition was highly competitive, with teams determined to progress in the tournament. Officers donned jerseys and soccer boots, as they took to the field under generally favorable weather conditions.
A total of eight teams are competing in this three-day event, with the Police team for the upcoming Ratu Sukuna Bowl set to be announced at the conclusion of the tournament tomorrow.
The results from Day 1 are as follows: ND 0 – 1 PMF, HQ 0 – 2 WD Team 2, ED 0 – 1 CD, SD 1 – 2 WD Team 1, HQ 1 – 0 CD, ED 0 – 3 WD Team 2.
