The Acting Commissioner of Police, Juki Fong Chew, commended the exceptional efforts of officers in the Western Division during a medal presentation ceremony held at the Girmit Center in Lautoka. Acknowledging the numerous challenges faced by the division over the past year, Chew emphasized the importance of resilience and strong leadership in navigating both the highs and lows of duty.
He expressed gratitude to his team for their support throughout his tenure as the Acting Commissioner and offered a special thanks to retired officers for their ongoing commitment to the organization.
In total, 188 officers and retirees received the Fiji Police Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, while 69 were honored with the Fiji Police Medal.
