Coach Ratu Seremaia Tuinausori praised the team’s commitment and hard work during training, which proved instrumental in their success on game day. He expressed gratitude, stating, “All thanks go to God for giving us the energy to perform today. Although the Army Wives dominated the first set, we remained assured in the training we received over the past months.”
Tuisawau also shared some challenges the team faced during their preparations, noting the frequent changes in player availability due to other commitments in different sports. “One significant challenge we encountered was the constant alterations with our players — some of our team members are also engaged in Netball and Rugby Sevens. Nevertheless, I am thankful for the resilience and spirit our players have shown,” she added.
