A woman has been arrested and is currently in police custody for allegedly operating a liquor sales business without a license in Tacirua. Officers from the Valelevu Police Station carried out a raid last night at a shop that was reported to be selling liquor illegally, resulting in the seizure of over 100 cans and bottles of alcoholic beverages. The 24-year-old woman was apprehended at the scene and remains in custody as investigations are ongoing. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACP) Livai Driu emphasized that operations targeting such illegal activities are aimed at disrupting unlawful markets and preventing associated crimes.
