Police Blues Head Coach Solomone Nute expressed that their successful defense of the Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl marks a fitting conclusion to the 150th anniversary celebrations of the Fiji Police Force. After their narrowly secured 20-19 victory over Army at the HFC Bank Stadium, Nute described this achievement as a mission accomplished for his dedicated team.

In his statements to FijiLive, Nute emphasized the significance of this win as a tribute to the legacy of their predecessors who served diligently to uphold law and order in Fiji and went on missions abroad. “We cherish this win in remembrance of the 150 years of our forefathers and brothers who served before us and gave their lives,” he remarked.

The victory also celebrates the hard work of the Police team, as they had already claimed the prestigious Escott Shield earlier this year as well as the inaugural Armed Native Constabulary Bowl. Nute praised his players for their commitment and resilience, noting, “I commend the boys, they have given their all and reaped the rewards.”

This triumphant moment not only symbolizes the strength of the Police Blues but also stands as a tribute to the noble history of the Fiji Police Force, highlighting their dedication to serving the community. It reflects a spirit of unity and perseverance that can inspire both current and future generations.

In conclusion, the victory serves as a motivational reminder of the importance of teamwork and dedication in overcoming challenges, fostering hope and pride within the Fiji Police Force and the communities they serve.
