Participants from 11 Pacific Island Countries successfully completed the initial phase of the Leadership in Complexity program, hosted by the Australian Institute of Police Management (AIPM) in Manly, Australia, on Friday.
Acting Senior Superintendent of Police Joape Cakacaka, the Director of Operations for the Fiji Police Force, and Acting Senior Superintendent Pauliasi Colamoto, the Director of Strategic Planning, Policies, Research, and Development, attended the event.
This workshop provided Pacific leaders with opportunities to engage in interactive activities and share information on addressing complex policing issues. The AIPM program focused on enhancing the leadership skills of the participants and strengthening their networks in support of the Blue Pacific.
Both A/SSP Cakacaka and A/SSP Colamoto expressed their gratitude for the training and enthusiasm about implementing the strategies learned in their respective units.
The workshop took place from August 6 to August 9, 2024.
