Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has landed in Tonga for the 53rd Pacific Island Forum Leaders Meeting 2024, which commenced this morning. The gathering, themed “Transformative Resilient Pasifiki: Build Better Now,” is scheduled from August 26 to August 30. The Government of Tonga is hosting the Forum, with Tongan Prime Minister Hu’akavemeiliku Siaosi Sovaleni serving as the chair. Later today, Rabuka is expected to engage with the Fijian diaspora in Tonga.
