Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has arrived in Tonga for the 53rd Pacific Island Forum Leaders Meeting 2024, which commenced this morning. The forum, themed “Transformative Resilient Pasifiki: Build Better Now,” is scheduled to take place from August 26 to 30. The event is being hosted by the Government of Tonga, with Tongan Prime Minister Hu’akavemeiliku Siaosi Sovaleni serving as the chairperson. Later today, Rabuka is expected to meet with the Fijian diaspora in Tonga.
