Nadi Head Coach Raj Dayal is entering the Battle of the Giants final with a strong sense of optimism following their group stage victory over Lautoka, hoping the team can replicate the result.
Despite the close 2-1 win, Dayal emphasizes the importance of maintaining focus as Lautoka is a formidable opponent.
“Coming into the semifinal, I knew what the boys were capable of. I already felt blessed, but we did face some challenges in the midfield. We addressed those and performed well,” Dayal commented.
“We are very confident with our side. We will be focusing on ball distribution and our game plan,” he added.
Dayal also urged fans to come out in large numbers to support the team.
“Your support means everything to us. Come and cheer on the boys; let’s make this final memorable,” he said emotionally.
The grand final of the 2024 Rooster Chicken/Scoops Ice-Cream BOG between Flick Hygiene Lautoka and Smart and Efficient Security/Calgary Nadi will commence at 3 pm.
