Nadi Head Coach Raj Dayal is approaching the Battle of the Giants final with a strong sense of optimism following their group stage victory over Lautoka, hopeful for a repeat performance.
Despite securing a close 2-1 win, Dayal emphasizes the importance of maintaining focus, recognizing the formidable challenge that Lautoka presents.
“Coming into the semifinal, I knew what the boys were doing and what they were capable of. Although I felt blessed, we did face some challenges in the midfield, but we addressed them and performed well,” Dayal said.
“We’re very confident in our side and will be concentrating on ball distribution and our game plan,” he added.
Dayal also urged fans to show their support in large numbers. “Your support means everything to us. Come and cheer on the boys; let’s make this final memorable,” he emotionally stated.
The grand final of the 2024 Rooster Chicken/Scoops Ice-Cream BOG between Flick Hygiene Lautoka and Smart and Efficient Security/Calgary Nadi will commence at 3pm.
