Leader of the Opposition, Inia Seruiratu, confirmed today that he will serve as an Independent Member of Parliament for the remainder of the Parliamentary term.
Speaking to the media, Seruiratu stated that former FijiFirst MPs have the freedom to decide their paths forward. He emphasized that his caucus will continue its duties and responsibilities in keeping the Government in check and ensuring the delivery of quality services to Fijians.
Seruiratu mentioned that all his members have until July 15 to decide on their next moves and he will respect whatever decisions they make about their political futures.
