Ratu Ilisaniti Malodali, Tui Nadogo, indicated his support for the nominee while emphasizing the importance of including chiefs in the decision-making process. Ratu Joseva Maivalili, Tui Wailevu, remarked that the chosen presidential candidate should embody justice and righteousness. He chose to remain neutral regarding his support for Ratu Naiqama, citing the need for a leader capable of uniting all districts and provinces in Fiji. He also highlighted the necessity for equality among the populace.

Ratu Maivalili expressed appreciation for the current president, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, for his leadership over the past four years and wished him well in the future. He reiterated the importance of a president who respects divine teachings and the Christian values that underpin the nation.

Emphasizing the need for visionary leadership, Ratu Maivalili stated that the next president should lead the country toward a stable future. Attempts to reach Ratu Jone Qomate, Tui Labasa, for his comments were unsuccessful.
