National Federation Party (NFP) leader Professor Biman Prasad expressed confidence that the party will be a significant contender in the upcoming election.
During his appearance on The Lens @177, Professor Prasad emphasized that it is the responsibility of the people to determine which leaders merit a place in Parliament.
“As far as I’m concerned, as far as the government is concerned, as far as NFP is concerned, we have never, over the years, deviated from our principles,” he stated. “We have steadfastly upheld the fundamental principles of freedom and the interests of the people. We will continue to do so, whether we are in government or not. And people understand our track record.”
He acknowledged that while the NFP may not have always received widespread support throughout its history, it remains a party that has endured for over 60 years.
“It takes something special to survive for such a long time and to keep growing stronger. So, I’m expecting the NFP to be a major force in the next election,” he added.
