National Federation Party (NFP) leader Professor Biman Prasad believes the party will play a significant role in the upcoming election.
In an appearance on The Lens @177, Prof Prasad emphasized that it is up to the people to determine which leaders are worthy of being elected to Parliament.
“From the government’s point of view and from the NFP’s standpoint, we have always upheld our principles,” he stated. “We have never wavered from the core values of freedom and advocating for the people’s interests. This commitment will continue regardless of whether we are in government or not. People are aware of our track record.”
He acknowledged that although the NFP might not have always gained the people’s support throughout history, it remains a party that has endured for over 60 years.
“It takes something special to survive that long and to keep growing and becoming stronger. Therefore, I expect the NFP to be a significant player in the next election,” he concluded.
