NFA Employees Celebrate First Pay Raise in Six Years!

The National Fire Authority (NFA) has recently announced a 20 percent salary increase for its operational staff. This pay rise is the first since 2017, highlighting a significant development for the organization.

Minister for Local Government, Maciu Nalumisa, emphasized the importance of this increase as a way to acknowledge and support the valuable contributions made by NFA employees. He noted that this adjustment aims to reward the hard work of the authority and its personnel, recognizing their commitment to the NFA’s operational goals.

“Government has embarked on ensuring staff empowerment, technical training, and development for our firefighters,” Nalumisa stated. He also mentioned that the NFA is forming strategic partnerships to enhance service delivery, promote knowledge sharing, and achieve technical excellence.
