The Cabinet has approved a Memorandum of Agreement and a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Women, Children, and Social Protection, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) of New Zealand, and the Peace Corps.
The agreements include a Grant Funding Agreement with MFAT, which will provide a maximum funding of NZD 100,000 (including taxes) aimed at developing a strategic plan for the period from 2025 to 2030. Additionally, a Memorandum of Understanding with the Peace Corps will facilitate support for projects and activities tied to the Community Economic Empowerment Project.
Both agreements will take effect upon signing.
