The Vunitogoloa Nursing Station, funded by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade for $196,000, was officially inaugurated in Ra on Friday.

Health Minister Dr. Atonio Lalabalavu expressed Fiji’s gratitude for the ongoing support and collaboration from the New Zealand government through the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, aimed at enhancing healthcare infrastructure and programs.

“We are very thankful. Please pass on our appreciation; the local communities and the Western Division acknowledge the effective use of your tax contributions,” he stated.

Dr. Lalabalavu highlighted that the residents of Fiji, particularly in the Western Division, recognize the positive impact of these initiatives.
