The comprehensive development plan includes a hotel, resort, guest house, cantilever swimming pool, mini cable car, mountain top steps, and various other tourism-related activities aimed at enhancing visitor experiences.

Mr. Xianlin noted that the project commenced last year and will unfold in phases over the next five years. With significant work ahead, he is committed to transforming this area into a thriving tourism hub in Vanua Levu.

Deputy Prime Minister Kamikamica, after assessing the project’s initial stages, praised the location’s elevation and its potential to provide breathtaking views for both tourists and locals. He expressed enthusiasm about how this development could introduce a new tourism lifestyle in the North and offered his ministry’s support to Mr. Xianlin should he need assistance.

This ambitious project has the potential to significantly boost tourism in the region, creating jobs and offering new experiences for both visitors and local residents. As the development progresses, it promises to enrich the cultural and economic landscape of Labasa.

In summary, the tourism project in Korovatu holds great promise for enhancing Fiji’s tourism infrastructure and creating an enjoyable experience for visitors, while also benefiting the local community through job creation and economic growth.
