New Mega Church Set to Accommodate 40,000 Worshippers!

The All Nations Christian Fellowship (ANCF) is set to construct a church designed to accommodate a congregation of 40,000 individuals. This announcement was made by ANCF general superintendent, Reverend Epeli Ratabacaca, during the church’s Epic Rugby Sevens tournament held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi last Friday.

Rev Ratabacaca noted that the tournament serves as a fundraising effort for the ambitious project. “We have a 25-acre parcel of land designated for this church facility, which will be able to host 40,000 attendees,” he explained.

He emphasized that the facility would be open for events for all Christian denominations. “We are motivated to build this facility for the entire body of Christ. We feel blessed that God has chosen us for this purpose,” he added.

Rev Ratabacaca also stated that the church facility would not only serve ANCF but will be available for other Christian denominations to conduct church conferences. He pointed out that sports venues are not suitable for worship services.

He cited an example where the Methodist Church Conference held at Vodafone Arena in Suva incurred expenses nearing half a million dollars for a single week. “These sports grounds, including Vodafone Arena, are not the house of God. Many Christian annual conferences have taken place in sports arenas, which become uncomfortable during rainy weather,” he remarked.

“This new facility aims to provide a comfortable environment for worshipping God,” he concluded.
